Not much time to write because we have been busy sum-sum-summering. While we think about how to compose a more eloquent post here is a round-up of random little joys we’ve been well… enjoying <3.
Sarah scored fabulous Swedish clogs for a song through a seller on instagram, I was jealous but have wide(ish) feet , so bought these imitators. All four feet are happy and lucky you – both brands are on sale now!
My husband is addicted to the insane media coverage of all national elections but this one in particular. This week I’m joining him in following the speeches. This is herstory in the making folks – we are living through a national tipping point. If FLOTUS didn’t make you cry last night you must not have been paying attention.
And how about her dress? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – cannot wait to see what Michelle does next!
An oldie but a goodie. I cannot stop listening to the Goat Rodeo Sessions. Specifically this track. Tell me it doesn’t fill your heart with joy, I won’t believe you.
Speaking of oldie-but-goodies, after years as a food professional and years of it being open for business, I finally dined at Fore Street and let’s just say I am ruined for all other restaurants and all other mussels.
Got a baby rolling all over the place but not interested in adorning your floors with rubber puzzle pieces? Us either. Sarah just scooped up the cutest cork-based mat for little Everett from the fine folks at Pillobee.
Speaking of baby stuff – I get a lot of compliments on Isaac’s pajamas. While I wish we could afford to have him live in Hannah Anderson and Boden, almost nightly he rocks cute, comfy, 100% cotton jams from Leveret. Lately the cow print is cracking me up. Hint: Order up two sizes.
Next month hubs and I are headed on our first vacay sans kid for a super special birthday, safe to say we are a more than a little excited. Got any must-stop spots to recommend for us in Nova Scotia, or between Cape Breton and Portland, Maine??? Please share!
How is it almost August? What do you all have planned for the precious last weeks of summer swelter?
